Now here is something you don't see every day: stingray leather! Often described as the most unforgiving of the exotic leathers, this tough material has a unique appearance due to the "pearls" in its skin. These small round nodules are actually a form of armor for the stingray and are similar in composition to human teeth! The owner of this bench caught this ray and wanted us to reupholster his bench with its leather. We think it looks great!
